Strategy Plan -- Explore Nature
Considering the rich natural resources in New Piasa Chautauqua, there are many opportunities to build activity places that take advantage of those valuable natural resources, such as woods, creeks, plants, animals, etc, to improve the community identity. In this case, people would have a special experience with nature which they would not have in the busy cities and also, those activities could encourage children to feel, to touch, to explore nature.

Forest is a perfect place for people to explore nature. Children could have many kinds of activities to learn bravery when they are facing the world. Furthermore, it provides an excellent chance for children to be closer with nature, to communicate with nature, to experience how to get along with nature, especially when we are dealing with a more serious and crucial environmental habitat currently. Adults could have more exciting activities in the forest, like walking in the sky-walk, trying to robe-way, camping on the tree, etc. This experience would be unforgettable since people could see such different and refreshing views of Chautauqua.
MASTER PLAN
By analyzing the potential activities and topography, I propose a trail along the mountain in New Piasa Chautauqua in order to help residents engaging with nature with different experiences.
There are five selected activities spaces along with the trail, which are rope nets area, garden, handworks shelter, scramble poles area, and cabin, to strengthen the relationship between people and nature in Chautauqua. Also, wilderness environments and adventure activities would provide people with unforgettable experiences.
